Champa Devi Government Girls Inter College Harnahi, Gorakhpur was founded by U.P. Govt. in 1987 under the affiliation of U.P. Board. The Late Chief Minister Shri Birbahadur Singh played a very important role to establish this college.
College is situated in block and tehsil Khajni. It is located near tehsil Khajni beside the main road . In this rural area this is only Government College which provides education to the girls. It is a Sr. Secondary School (Class 6-12), where lowest class is 6th and highest class is 12th. Art, Science and vocational subjects are taught in this institution.
All the teachers are highly qualified. The college is reputed for excellent results . There are adequate teaching rooms ,staffs and principal rooms. There is good arrangement of light and fans in each room. There is a good arrangement of library in college having more than 500 books are available in library.
The college has well equipped lab's for Physics, Chemistry and Biology with prerequisite apparatus and chemicals.
